Junior Events

The Association is actively engaged in the planning and execution of events across the North East and Yorkshire regions, aimed at catering to the needs of young sailors. These events are designed to be inclusive and supportive, ensuring that all participants feel welcome and valued.

Youth Traveller Series

This is a series that supports all young sailors and takes place at various locations in the region. It's a great chance for less experienced sailors to learn from other young sailors and coaches.

Team Racing 

Instead of individual efforts, teamwork is now emphasized to achieve optimal outcomes. This approach also facilitates the development of communication, determination, and resilience skills. Additionally, we participate in national events through NEYYSA and organize our own events.

As a region we also have coaching days and other sailing events like the NSSA youth regatta, Regional Junior Championships.

Opportunity For All Youth & Junior Sailors In The Region

The association aims to provide high quality racing for all young sailors in the region, regardless of the class of boat they sail, their financial situation or social demographic, where they live or where their sailing aspirations may take them.
