10 June - South Shields SC

Always a crowd favourite.  Weather conditions pending we intend to go to sea.  Pack that lunch and join us for a brilliant introduction to sea sailing.

24 June - Derwent Reservoir SC

DRSC invites you to join them for a weekend of sailing fun with a big club social on the Saturday night and then a fun regatta event on the Sunday which the entire family is welcome to join in with.  More information, via the links below.  Camping/Caravan space available Friday & Saturday night, our brilliant event on the Saturday (not that we're biased!), a social on Saturday night and fun sailing on Sunday.  What's not to like about this great plan?

Info about the weekend and how to book the social, camping and joining in with the regatta are all available on the club's website via this link.

01 July - Teesdale Sailing and W/S Club

Always good racing and a friendly welcome.  A long thin reservoir makes for challenging tactics at the front of the fleet but they always field a few regatta division coaches to make sure everyone has a good day.

08 July - Pennine SC

Known for 4 seasons in 1 day.  Another long term contributor to the series, we're looking forward to going back after a few years absence from this venue.

15 July - Ulley SC

We're heading back to Ulley again this year after a break last year.  The home club for an Olympic Champion (& more importantly also home club to multiple NEYYTS winners in the past), amazing flapjack and a warm welcome.

09 September - Scaling Dam SC

SDSC will be encouraging less experienced and novice racers to participate at this event as well as welcoming the main fleet protaganists as usual but we anticipate a lot of the more experienced sailors will be away racing at other events this weekend so this is a great opportunity to bag some series points, get some regatta division coaching and meet new friends and have an adventure at great place to sail.  Hopefully they'll have Mrs Young's lemon cake on sale in bulk too!

The club has posted some changes to the sailing instructions on their website.

16 September - Covenham SC

Steady winds, smooth launch ramp and great Spag Bol.  If you've not sailed at Covenham before it's well worth a trip along the M18, a great stretch of water and a friendly welcome guaranteed.

23/24 September - Sunderland SC

This is going to be a brilliant weekend, we welcome the RS Tera Northern Champs and the the IOCA RTG North Indicators to the event.

If you are entering the RS Tera Northerns or IOCA event then you need to enter via the specific entry option on the entry form.  You will be entered into the NEYYTS event as well.

If you are just(!) entering the NEYYTS event then both days count towards the series as separate events so you can do 1 day or 2 days and get either 1 or 2 events onto your series score card!  The club will also be handing out weekend prizes.  That prize table is going to be groaning under the weight of all that loot!

30 September - Ripon SC - END OF SERIES SOCIAL

Ripon is delighted to be hosting the final round and looks forward to the end of series social in the evening.  Always a great day out with plenty of interest for spectators on the big deck overlooking the infamous "channel".
